Space-Gard® It's a fact the trapped
air we breathe in our homes can be loaded with dust,
pollen, spores and other pollutant particles. In many
cases, it's worse than the air outside. Especially if you
are one of the more than 40 million allergy sufferers in
North America. Combine that with the fact that we spend
90% of our time inside and indoor air quality becomes a
major concern.
Installed in your
heating/cooling duct system, central air cleaners with
sophisticated filtering capabilities have become the
accepted way to improve indoor air quality. And the
Space-Gard high efficiency air cleaner has proven to be
the perfect, practical solution for whole house use.
Absolutely silent operation, minimal maintenance and 99%
efficiency on pollen and spores, has made Space-Gard the
clean air choice throughout North America. LifeTime Filter: The Electrostatic Air Filter
How Does an Electrostatic Filter Work? The average person breathes about two
gallons of air per minute. This air contains particles
that act as carriers for viruses, bacteria, and harmful
pollutants. A Cutaway View of the LifeTime Filter (64k) Important Note - Proper cleaning of the LifeTime Filter is vital to its performance. Inspect your LifeTime Filter every 30 to 45 days and clean as follows: 1.Remove filter. 2.Attach nozzle to hose then turn on water to full pressure. 3.Back wash from the clean side of the filter first with a tight, direct stream of water for two or three minutes. Do not spray the dirty side first. 4.Then spray the front (dirty) side for two or three minutes as needed to clean the filter thoroughly. 5.With the drain holes at the bottom side of the filter, allow the water to drain 15 to 30 minutes or until drip free. 6.Reinstall the filter and enjoy another month of Clean Air! If desired, a mild detergent, such as dishwashing liquid, may be used when cleaning the filter. Always rinse thoroughly. |
